My husband had to stop ixazomib in January 2019,after 23 sessions, when he had a fall and fractured his femur .He spent 8 weeks in total in hospital and it was decided not to continue with the ixazomib as he had suffered great pain in his hip and then the fracture whilst receiving it. The problem is he is diagnosed as IgG Kappa Oligosecretory which means his blood tests do not show a clear picture of what is happening, He has a pacemaker so cannot have a MRI scanand was very very ill after the last bone marrow biopsy So he had to wait for a PET scan. He has now been started on Daratumumab monotherapy. and had his first treatment last Friday. Did not suffer any bad effects which was good. Would welcome hearing from anyone else on this treatment
