Hi, received my diagnosis this week after being admitted for acute kidney failure. Am obviously in shock, nervous about the treatment, worried that my kidney function might not return…swinging between optimism and pessimism. This website is helping. What I am struggling with is on one hand my great doctors say that being so young is good in that they will have time to try more treatments (invasive), but it presents challengs as the younger you are the more potential relapses they have to manage over time. Anyone else had similar thoughts or am I thinking too far ahead? Chemo starts Thu so have everything crossed. Thank you all.
