I was diagnosed with myloma in January. I had been on the Mgus tracker for 3 years, but unfortunately my paraptotein levels increased markedly, and a subsequent bone marrow biopsy showed active Myloma. I was to see my consultant today to plan my treatment, but this has been postponed as she had to cover the doctor’s strike. I don’t seem to have any symptoms yet, apart from extremely high levels of anxiety. Does treatment start before symptoms show?
