Hi my husband has been recently diagnosed with myeloma and is 3 weeks into treatment of DVRD. He was advised to have a dental check before starting zometa and discovered he had a tooth infection and dentist suggested removing .. is it safe to do this before starting zometa have been reading about jaw necrosis. I wondered if anyone had a tooth removed before treatment ? Is it better to take densumabe with if there is a choice ? Thanks any advice would be appreciated thanks,
