Hi everybody – I need some help.

I was fortunate and got onto the RADAR clinical trial after diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma in July. However after a recent serious reaction to Stem Cell Harvesting just prior to the planned Transplant process, I was taken off the trial due to potential ‘risks’ so no chance of transplant now.
This occurred following four cycles of Induction Chemo Therapy for the Multiple Myeloma, which included Lenalidomide as a principle component of the treatment as part of the clinical trial,.
Treatment has now been reinstated but has changed to the standard VCD drug regime and extended out to 8 cycles this decision by the NHS removes the option of Lenalidomide inclusion in my treatment. which was extremely successful with outstanding results on the four completed RADAR cycles.

Discussions with my consultant has clarified that if we could add the inclusion of Lenalidomide to the VCD drug regime this would significantly help me in obtaining a much more robust and lengthy remission period.

However whilst this is available to me from the NHS I would have to pay for it, the NHS have asked for £14,700 for the three cycles it would apply to.(63 capsules) This would be self funding – no insurance, hugely expensive for a licenced drug that is now out of patent and generics are available and rumour is a 21 day cycle real cost is in the very low hundreds.

The recommended solution therefore is that I obtain and pay, privately, for the Lenalidomide to enhance the therapy from another source such as India, China or elsewhere.
I am facing a further 3 cycles (each 28 day) of treatment therefore need to obtain 3 cycles of 21 day dosage of 10mg Lenalidomide capsules.

Can anyone help me with this to obtain Lenalidomide from an alternative proven and reputable international supply source, it is extremely important to me and my family to get the maximum out of the impending remission. I have read historical posts where this has been done and hope that it is still available to achieve, I would be so grateful.
