Happy New Year!
When I was diagnosed in March 2013, I too started positive! I have remained so for the most part but there are times when my head would start to go down.
It gets harder as time goes by.
Just keep believing and working on it and you will always pick up again. I have been down that route myself.
Don’t bottle things up either – follow the advice of Pauline and Megan.
Now, I look forward to remission, to returning to work and to returning to a more active life. These things help me to remain positive.
Keep us updated and all the best in 2014.

Thankyou for your reply – where does the Willisboy come from as my name is Willis. I just feel that I need some get up and go – I managed to get to the hospital for my velcade yesterday came back late afternoon fell asleep until 6.30 went to bed and didn’t get up while 12.30!!! I don’t think I have ever felt as tired as this before – plus no appetite – which I know is doing me no good at all. I wonder if it’s part of the MM – we know how varied it is or a bug that I’ve got – you do get a bit panicky – anyway thanks for your time – I have been trying to get on the forum for months – but I’m no technophobe!!!

The name Willis is my middle name. It was a name that had been in the family for generations, I got it at my Granddads request to keep the name in the family.
I only had one daughter, so the name won’t carry on in the family unless my daughter has a son in the future (she is only 12 so that will be a long way off).
The sleeping and lack of appetite is part and parcel of the process, more than likely a bug or side effect from the treatment.
Keep going, things will improve.
