You may remember that we had a few related conversations some time ago, so I hope you don’t mind me contacting you again and of course, I hope you are still continuing to do well under the circumstances.

It’s now around 18 months since I was diagnosed and am still smouldering, and I am wondering what your Paraprotein levels are? Mine have been as “low” as 24 but are currently at around 30 but fortunately, I have no lytic lesions, bone/muscle pain and no kidney related issues, as my urea and creatinine levels all seem to be within limits. May I ask you as a smoulderer, if it has been suggested that you start any form of early treatment, as with my paraprotein levels starting to show signs of an increase, I feel this may be something which my oncologist may want to discuss at our next meeting?
