Hi , my name is jo , my dad was diagnosed with MM in August ¨13 he was complaining of terrible chest pains so i took him to A&E , his PP count was 111 ( hospital record ! ) and started on VELCADE straight away after the first cycle he suffured acute kidney failure and sepsis , he was in intensive care for a week , then transfered to Kings College for a futher 2 weeks where they kick started his kidneys . He has just been taken off VELCADE after cycle 4 because his his PP levels have levelled out between 50 & 60 also was showing symptoms PN they are just about to start him on LENALIDOMINE and a steroide , he has lost about 10 kg and is very worried .
