    Hello,

I have recently been referred to the haematologist after many months of troublesome symptoms (bone pain, fatigue, nausea, itching, night sweats). They did blood tests and found elevated lambda light chains (48) and an abnormal ratio. But my calcium levels were fine and other tests looked mostly fine. The haemotologist initially said “just MGUS” but then seemed to change her mind when she heard that I had symptoms, and is now talking about possibly more tests and also mentioned the possibility of amyloidosis. I had an abdominal/thoracic CT and nothing showed up there. I have an autoimmune disorder as well (connective tissue disease). I am a bit confused about what happens now and what this all means, and I don’t see the haematologist for another 3 weeks. Any light anyone can shed on my light chain issue?? 🙂
