I’m going to keep the facts of this story short…

I’m a transgendered woman and I have been bullied all of life, by both strangers and family members. Whilst it is true my self-esteem has significantly increased since “coming out”, but there is still a lot of work to do. It should be noted that I’m very proactive and refuse to be a victim.

To help deal with the response of the public and to have a career in law (as defence counsel) I’m seeking FFS (Facial Feminizing Surgery),

Question: Is it wrong to seek sponsorship for my surgery?

This seems to be a morality question, I know if I’m honest about it there is no legal difficulty but I thought you lovely people may know something I don’t.

Whilst I feel sad to hear what you have been through I have to agree with Tony this really isn’t the place to start a discussion on this subject and sincerely hope you find the right kind of forum of similar mindset to you to share your interest.

I looked at your posting to see what your dilemma was with regard to multiple myeloma. However, I was totally surprised by your posting. You are definitely on the wrong forum to discuss the problems that you have. This forum is for people and their families who have multiple myeloma and I suggest you raise your question elsewhere.

Please don’t feel angry it’s just that this forum is for people who have multiple myeloma a cancer that at the moment is incurable and terminal therefore any fundraising by our family and friends goes towards research for this cruel disease in the hope of finding better treatments and a possible cure in the future, I truly hope you understand and find what you’re looking for sadly it’s just not here.

I really am sorry, I too wish you luck in finding a cure. Cancer is the evilest of diseases! I often think how cool it would be to just blast it out of existence (but then I also like dragons), still we can dream.
