The finished cycle will tell the story of a young couple over a 20 year period, from their meeting when Danny is 18 (and about to start work as a mechanic on the prestigious American NASCAR racing circuit – he doesn't go) and marrying against their families wishes (Angelina is 4 years older and is a single mother with a child by an illegal Mexican immigrant worker). We follow their journey through the birth of their own child, to the illness and death of Angelina by brain tumour and beyond – where Danny meets and marries Sadie, a union helped, according to Danny, by Angelina's ghost. (This song). The cycle concludes with Sadie taking on the reins of their family life and Danny's acceptance of the way to be. Or something like that :-).
The songs will include male and female vocals plus two duets. (I have 2 daughters with excellent voices).8-)
