I am on the cardamom trial and would really like to hear from anyone else with experience of it. I’ve found the effects very toxic with frequent visits to a and e, however blood results are good and just completed induction, I had decided to come off it at this point, but now wonder if that’s the right thing to do. Just about to do stem cell release and tests, then get randomised into transplant or continue for another 4 months on the carfolmizibib. It’s very intrusive with 2 days a week at the hospital and 3 to recover, I feel I have no life, but obviously if it means I have longer in remisssion and a longer life it would be worth it. I’ve read that longer is 28 months, the treatment is 24 months, these figures don’t really match up. Anyone with any experience or info?
