Hi everyone
I am not normally a social net work person, prefer old fashion face to face ,even though I am only 47 yrs old. The reason why I am posting this,is because I feel there is no real information for kids and the less educated individuals out there about myeloma and topics associated with it. Maybe as a a crowd we can encourage myeloma.org.uk to have a Tab just for kids and the less educated out there.
I have a A Level in Human science and when I read articles several , it takes several times for my brain to understand the full picture of new information. Multiple Myeloma is a very complicated cancer and most people don’t truly understand the issues and complications that come along with the disease. This is surely an area which can have a huge amount of input from families that has someone who suffers with myeloma.
I have read the book Kelsey and yellow kite which has been helpful to many. I think this is just a small start of what we could all do to explain to those find hard understand myeloma.
We all think in pictures and grasp new ideas through simplicity,so let’s get the word out there A NEW TAB on myeloma org uk homepage for our darling children who needs more support than we would ever know
