    Hi grandmat,

I’m 76 and currently on the fitness XIV trial and about to start my 3rd year of my of maintenance (Lenalidomide/Ixazomib or Placebo). I tolerate it reasonably well and my consultant seems very happy with my bloods and says I’m in remission, which is great news. I take my Ixazomib/placebo on 3 Wednesdays of the month and was regularly sick or nauseous on these days. I have deduced from this that it is the real thing. I can’t imagine the placebo would cause this. I now take an anti sickness pill, Ondansetron, beforehand and this has sorted the problem for me. My consultant has prescribed it.
I hope this helps your husband

Thanks onwards and upwards it’s good to hear your doing well, we have been told that the placebo /tablet has a casing round it and that some people have an allergy to the outer shell of the medication so don’t know what to think as your name says onwards and upwards will have a chat with our consultant when we go on Wednesday
