Hello everyone
My Mum’s light chains have started to rise again, from 200 in February 2017 to 1200 June 2017. The Oncologist has said she will be treated again within the next few months, this will be her third treatment.
Unfortunaetly she is 86 years old and I am worried this will be the last time she will be given any treatment. My question is does anyone know if she will be too old for a clinical trial and how do I find out about them? I am going to ask the Oncologist but wondered if anyone on this forum has had experience with elderly people and clinical trials?
