    Hi Jacquie
Everything crossed for you both, its a good run now until the "I feel Better Mode" but it will be worth it, take it one day at a time and on its poor days just an hour at a time.

Good Luck and hope the side effects are small, Tell Geoff to throw that mouthwash into his mouth like its going out of fashion the more the better 😀

    Hi Jacquie

Well as for me when I came home the Young Bride (Elaine still went to work but left me a Pack up and flask of coffee on bedside table if I got hungry and bottles of water, and to be fair I didn't move too much for the first week.

Am sure Geoff will manage well with you at work.

    Love to you Both

    Hi Jacquie

Hope you are having a great time and enjoying your visit 😀 I am retired so when Frank was in having SCT I spent most of the day with him. Now in saying that if I wasn't there I would have been at home on my own as all kids have flown nest so I just sat in the hospital room with him. I have to say although I sat and did nothing I was exhausted every night !!! Also I don't even know if Frank realised that I was there half the time as if he was not sleeping he was in the bathroom:-P . He also did not want any other visitors. I think our boys visited twice and even then he they had to get his permission. I think having a job to go to is a good thing as it will help you focus on something else beside this bl**dy MM and having gone through it beside him i, in retrospect it would have been good for me to get away from the hospital for a while.

Take care Jacquie and my very best to Geoff
    Love Jean x

    Hi jacqui and Geoff,

Hope things are going ok…..thinking of you. It's a rough ride but it will get better. As jean said I spent every day at the hospital with Colin from 3pm to 8pm. Went to work from7am til 230pm. My work were great and I couldn't have been more supportive. When Colin came home the first day he was then back in for a week! However when he came home proper I was at home for one week, then back to work the following but like Tom left food nd drink stocks, arranging for occasional visits from family who were bug free.

The main thing was tiredness and a bit of anxiety at the enormity of it all. Be warned it is very very tiring doing work and home stuff and it does catch up with you…..I am whacked now but I can't stop worrying about what this pain or that is, why is Colin so tired etc, but it will get better 🙂

Tell Geoff to keep his chin up. Sian told us they have a very good record for scts at Cheltenham 🙂

    Vicki and Colin xx
