Hi all. I started with flu the beginning of November. I am high risk MM on monthly maintenance which seems to be keeping things on an even keel.
Mid November I contacted my team as I was breathless. I went to hospital and after a very thorough check up it was decided not to admit me but was sent home with a short course of antibiotics and the usual- rest, fluids and paracetamol. Swabs came back- a strain of flu- not the one in the media. After 10 days of doing very little things improved. Now in December symptoms returned every few days but only lasted a couple of days. Worst bit is a very runny nose and watery eyes.
Now near end of December and things are improving but I’m still not functioning very well.
Just wondering – though I hope not- if anyone else has been hit by these winter viruses.
