I just wanted to pass on some good news I’ve just had, as we have to be able to deal with both types with myeloma.
I was diagnosed July 2024, 65 years old. SCT in Dec 2024, then enrolled on the MagnetisMM trial at Addenbrokes (using Elranatamab as first line treatment). I have higher Risk genetic variant so wasnt really expecting it, but am now in SCR ( stringent complete response), so might well get a good first remission rather than a meh one, as I had anticipated. Also might mean my treatment goes down from monthly to six monthly, which would free up more time to see the world.
