I attended the Myeloma Info Day today in Cardiff, organised by Myeloma UK. It was superb. Three haematology consultants and two specialist nurses from Wales gave excellent talks and a Q&A session. They covered everything about the illness, treatment methods, research, life advice, etc. I think different cities would have different speakers. But I guess there will be consistency: the excellent sides were prepared by Myeloma UK for the speakers. On these occasions the chance to talk with other patients is hugely valuable too, of course. If there is an Info Day near you (find out on Myeloma UK website) I strongly recommend it.
