We had the results of Ian's recent blood tests and consultant is pleased that his light chians have remained stable this month at 210. She also said his good antibodies were growing so it is all good news ate present. We were told that Ian will get home in 4-6 weeks. Ian a bit anxious but I will be happy not to visit hospital every day.

    Dear Maureen,
I'm delighted with the news. Also the previous communication about the 60th birthday- I really thought we had the wrong decade there……
It's very long warm days in Scotland – rather amazing- some locals are getting sunburned in ten minutes. We have a huge pond in our garden which has two oversized survivor goldfish, frogs, lily pads and a range of plants and beetles. I'm a bit weak as I tend to get a few days after having dex as part of my treatment, but the air is fragrant and it feels as if we are away on holiday.
    Best to you both,
    Eva

    Hi Eva

It is exceptionally hot for Scotland and I wish I was sitting at a swimming pool with a nice strawberry daiquiri.

It's been a long nin months but Ian is slowly getting stronger and I hope he will be able to walk again. Looking forward to having him home.

    Hope you ae keeping well.
