Hi . I have registered today as I have just been diagnosed . I am 75 and at this stage I am only receiving 6 monthly checks. So I guess I am not to serious yet.
I am my wifes Carer as she has mesothelioma. We are motorhome enthusiasts an get away when we can. My condition was found because I had been visiting a chiropractic for 7 months with excruciating back pain. It wasnt helping. WHen the pain got to bad I visited my GP who sent me for tests. So I am a Newby and expect I can glean info here that will help.

    Hi "Ramos"

Welcome to the forum – I do hope you find it the support we all do.

I'm glad to hear that you are not having any treatment at present, but was surprised that, as your problem started in your back, that you are not having pills or infusions for bone strengthening. Has this been mentioned to you? In the nearly 18 months I wasn't having any chemotherepy I was having this – first pills and then four weekly infusions.

I do hope you have a very long period when treatment isn't needed.

    Very best wishes to you.

    Mavis
