    Hi all,

Does anyone else suffer from the pain of trapped wind in the evening and nighttime. It can be eased if I pardon, the expression, 'burp'. The pain is in my back and chest and up into my jaw.

I had it very badly last night.

    Any advice please

    Thanks

    Tina

    Hi Tina
I swear by peppermint tea but it's not always enough, I need plenty of fibre with the tablets:-P and it's difficult when you don't always feel like eating.

Hi Tina trapped wind is awful so painful!! Try peppermint cordial with freshly boiled water and rink it as hot as you can You might have to look in the drinks department at supermarket or an off-licence as its not so popular as it was Good luck hope it works it does for me love Bridgetxx

Hi Tina, I do sympathise with you on this one,I've just got over a bout of it which lasted nearly 3 weeks.
Peppermint is an excellent remedy as is drinking hot water.
I went out and bought some pro biotic tablets and take one per day which also seems to help.
I went to my local hospital and got checked over by a doctor as I was passing lots of blood but fortunately it was due to a burst blood vessel on the outside with no problem inside the bowel.

Hope it all settles down for you soon.

    Keith.
