    Hi
I am just curious what people have done with their pensions I have a private work pension which I am still paying into,Been diagnosed for 6 years but not sure what to do with the pension do I keep it going for my wife, try to get some cash out of it,stop paying into it etc.I'm 52years old but am afraid all the details of a pension just go over my head.
    Thanks Ian

    Hi Ian

Well it is a minefield the pension lark and I am no expert, but I am still working (age 58) and have one frozen pension and one am still paying into, now I looked into claiming the frozen one and what I would get in a lump sum and a monthly payment was not worth filling the forms out for as it will pay out £29 grand to my estate if I die before I retire :-/ and at the moment I have another 8 years to go for that.

So as I am still working I am leaving that alone for the moment but still have the right to collect it if and when I have to pack in work.

Each to their own Ian the above is how I feel at the moment 😀
