    Hi

Since the beginning of February of this year, I have had a persistent cough, snotty nose, and bringing up lots of mucous.

I’ve had four lots of Ciprofloxacin which does clear my chest, only for it to return roughly a couple of weeks later, or even around 10 days after finishing the antibiotics.

I’m currently on 25mg Revlimid along with 20mg of dex.

Is anyone else on a similar chemo regime and having constant coughs?

I currently feel crap, lethargic, weak, and very tired.

I’ve been on chemo since last July in one form or another.

Is it just me, or does the length of time and what I’m currently on effects anyone else in the same way.

    Thanks for any feedback.

    Terry

    Hi Terry

can you see if you can repost your post (great use of english there fiona!) without all the styling / font size instructions etc – it’s impossible to read – or is it just my computer failing to read it properly?

What’s your Lucozide count like? It might be because the chemo has affected your white blood cell count and so you are more perceptible to coughs and colds and less able to fight them.

    Hi Terry

There have been some nasty bugs doing the rounds again this year and what you describe is what my husband’s had. He has a stupid cough, and a nose that is constantly manufacturing snotty rubbish.

As I’m the one with MM, I’m hoping it’s not catching!

I hope you get shot of it soon.

    Hi
My husband – who is the one with MM had a cold and it took him forever to get over it. I wonder whether it just takes longer these days.
