Hello everyone!

I am writing this on behalf of my Mum who had Myeloma but has recently gone into remission.

My Mum is experiencing  extreme heaviness in her entire body, she says her head, back and lower body is very difficult to move and she feels giddy all the time. This has been going on for three years. She has been to the doctors but they say that there is nothing they can do.

She is taking:

Ranitidine, Septruim, Zovirax, Asprin, Revlimid, Amlodipine, Lisinopril, Bendroslumenthiazide and Tramadol. Some are antibiotics, blood pressure tablets and the chemo tablets she has to take daily.

She is starting to get depressed and cry and it pains me so much because she is my Mum and I want to help her.

Please if anyone could think of anything to help her, the heaviness is making life unbearable for her.

Thank you so much for you time, I have been through some of the posts on her and everyone is so supportive.

Sorry to hear your Mom is having problems – I’m sorry I can’t help but i really suggest she goes back to Her doctor (maybe you could go with her) and tell them she is finding life hard.

Hi Frances

Sorry your mum is feeling poorly. Does she feel dizzy when getting up from bed? Just wondering if the blood pressure medicines are lowering her blood pressure too much. Hope she finds out soon what is causing the problems.

My husband, not a MM sufferer, had dizzy ness when they put him on Benza……… He had to come off it.

I bet it is the drugs making your mum feel heavy. Hope things improve soon.
