Revlimid Shortnessof breath wheezing ?

    Hi

    I am very worried about my husband , Has just finished his second cycle of rev 25mg dex. He is in hospital now with severe breathing difficulty ,wheezing and coughing. Bloods show no infection and are all ok . chest x ray is fine. The doctors dont think it is treatment related  but it started after a week on rev dex and has just gotten worse 🙁 . Has been to hospital 3 times had 3 x antibiotics and prednisone . I would be grateful for any info on this please 🙂 I have read this as side effect but docs say not.

    My name is Sue by the way . This is my husband H . It is 3rd treatment .  diagnosed 2006 had CTD,  relapsed  20011 velcade dex,   feb 2014 rev dex

    Hi Sue

    When I was on Rev the doctors warned about two things: allergic reactions and blood clots. Have they ruled out these in your husband’s case? Hope it all gets sorted out soon.
