Oh crap. Scuse the language, but so sad to hear this. I’ve decided you can only hear bad news once, so everything else here is just a continuation with intermittent periods of calm.
I hope they get it back under control soon with minimal side effects.

I’m sorry to hear this news Tom. I wish you the best and hope they get you into remission as soon as they can.

Keep your chin up and keep to Tom senior’s saying.

Hi Tom, sorry to hear this, I hope this next round of treatment achieves a longer remission and few side effects.

Good luck and very best wishes.

    Take care

    Hi Tom

I had about the same remission from my act in 2005 but with  the new drugs around I’m still here  although just have started another course of Velcade which I hope will keep me going so I hope whatever treatment  you have works for you.

    Hi Tom

As RichardB said keep  positive. I was in the same position as you but that was in 2005 and I’m still here thanks to good treatment from the local haematology depth.

Tom, what a bugger. I’m so sorry. I see this was a few months ago – how are you doing now? How are they tackling it?
I haven’t been on here for a long time, but have been thinking of you. You were right about my plasmacytoma progressing. I wasn’t in the lucky percentage; it did so after just over four years. I’ve completed 4 cycles of VTD and have just started a fifth, but the MRI done two weeks ago apparently shows no change in three lesions, and one that may have got bigger, so having reconciled myself to the idea of the SCT I am now all at sea.
What a bastard this disease is.
