Hi, Had a wee knock back today, well we think its a knock back!

My wife (47) was supposed to start phase 2 (as I call it) today, thats the chemo followed by the GSCF(?), then a week later the Stem cell harvest, they ve postponed the chemo today as her white cell count is very low 0.49, its always been low since she started.

We have no idea whats going to happen now, its awful not knowing how treatment is going to progress.

They mentioned going straight to GSCF, then the harvest, they also mentioned another bone marrow biopsy.

Any info or advice or previous experience will be much appreciated.

Thanks for that. Do people often have low white cell count, is it normalish for people to miss the 1st big chemo and go straight to GSCF? She is really worried she won’t be allowed a SCT!
