Am about to embark on this new trial
Tackling Early Morbidity and Mortality assessing the benefits of anti biotic prophylaxis and its effect on healthcare associated infections.
So what it means for newly diagnosed Mm patients is the aim of the trial is to test if an antibiotic called Levofloxacin ,
Taken early on in your Myeloma can reduce the risk of infection if taken once a day for 12 twelve weeks.
800 patients are needed for this trial ad I am the first in Northampton.
It is in the 3rd stage
I will have an equal chance of being allocated to either the active or dummy drug

Have just started chemo so far so good,
Having 31 tablets for breakfast makes quite a change (not).

Hope everyone had a good Easter
