For the first time in about 5 or 6 months Stephen has no tubes, bandages or site op dressings.

No Hickman, PICC or any other type of canular. He is amazed that he can turn over in bed comfortably and move around without hindrence. Gosh he fidgets in bed now:-)

We still do not know if he is back in remission yet, as he does not see the specialist until after blood works later in the month, but he does seem to be improving a little and eating a bit more. Maybe his hair will start to grow back soon:-)

    Hope evweryone is well Gillxxx

Great news from you Gill and Stephen,

I truly hope that this freedom from pins, needles and their associated attachments is combined with freedom from MM and a meaningful remission.

The best of luck with the blood-works.

    Dai.

I bet Stephen is relieved to be able to move about in bed again. Hopefully this is just the start of another new beginning for you both. Can you escape to France now?
peter is following on behind you Stephen. Again.
When I joined this site you were writing his SCT blog and I was in awe of what was to come, but found it very useful as a means to telling my technophobe husband what to expect.
He is in on Monday for his 2nd and wondered what if anything was different from the 1st apart from feeling more harsh and longer to recover ?

It IS good to hear Stephen is free from those attachments and able to fidget in bed as much as he wants without worrying about pulling something out!!

I hope this "holiday" lasts and you get good news about his numbers soon!!
