My husband was diagnosed with MM in January 2019. He underwent 4 cycles of VTD. At the end of these his paraproteins were <2. We went into the SCT in early July with much optimism. He found it extremely tough! Disappointingly when he was tested in September his paraproteins were actually 2, rising to 3 in November and 4 at the end of December. Next test in March. (The specialist has discussed the potential for DVD treatment at some future date.) He hasn’t been overly well since the transplant, suffering with a dreadful productive cough since October and now a 3 week spell of diarrhoea, which the doctors feel could be as a result of the multiple courses of antibiotics for the cough ~ which is still present! He is now taking some ‘off the shelf’ expensive probiotics, along with high grade Manuka honey. Do any of you have any recommendations as to how he can manage his current symptoms? Thank you.

I have just undergone my SCT harvest yesterday and had the worst headache. Headaches and bone pain are something that I have been experiencing in the last 3-4 months. At this point I must point out that each person is different, so side affects will be different.
My consultant at my transplant hospital recommends that I should have an MRI after my procedure, so that should show if there are any issues in my back.
I must say that we must trust in the professionals and follow their guidance.
I have never been a great one for the technical medical side of things.
We hope to be in the transplant stage in early March.
Away from this I would like to ask if anyone has tried CBD oil/capsules?
