I agree about IV anti'bs I certainly had an upset stomach when in Hospital a couple of weeks ago when on a high dose I thought I got a DOSE OF c diff oh no! but it was the meds so I think you are probably right, on my chemo at the moment i am on half doses of everything except Velcade and its working this is because of the renal failure so over dosing I think you have hit the nail on the head:-P

I am sure you will be ok on CDT i think it is probably the DEX that makes your feet puff up have a word with your DOC when you go it makes my ankles swell a bit I also have pramidrinate once a month which seems to be ok no real side effects

I am on my first relapse only had CDT before now on Velcade seems to be doing ok not many side effects it has a great reputation as a drug so i hope Peter does really well on it

Who knows its all a mistery to me when i was admitted with temp of 39 my white cells were 12 Hb9.5 only had a cold to start with liquid paras and Iv ANTIb,S soon bought it down why it had not happened before when I have had a cold didnt happen on CDT so perhaps its the Velcade no explaination It happens was the reply no real clue as to what to look out for and avoid hope you are better soon onwards on upwards as dear Tom would sayLove and (((HUGS))jO X

I too am on Velcade had no real side effects but have been having it once a week for four weeks with a week off this regime might suit you better have had two weeks off because of chest infection temp of 39 two day in hospital but been good other wise perhaps your consultant will change you to once a week

thanks for your thoughts I found the rush of love for my grandson as soon as he was born it was marvellous for Geoff as well because we were an all girl household before that even the cat was femail.
My hair has gone a bit sraggy as with you my hair is or was very thick not so at the moment so i am going as short as poss but i just might risk a colour dont fancy going grey yet because of the chest infection not had treatment for the last two weeks hope to start again next week went to DASH as they had a sale just had to buy a nice red velvet top BARGAIN!

i hope you get on well with the CDT I did ok on it I think the days that you are down are probably due to the DEX it has a bad effect on me that way

so sorry you have had to join I was diagnose jan 2009 and had CDT this gave me 3yrs 6mths remission I did not have a stem cell as my kidneys were badly damaged CDT was ok for me a few numb toes but no pain the only down side was from the DEX a bit hyper and not much sleep while taking it I was 61 and 1/2 when i diagnosed it was a terrible shock as i expect it was for you one i have not truly got over but there are so many new treatments now so hope for the future
