Dexitude is the word I am on 20 day one and 2 and side effects most of the following week but when I was on CDT it was 40mgs four days running hell on earth but it worked and i got 3yrs 6months remission so hang on in there i am on velcade sub Q at the moment once a week so i hope i get a good remisssion from it just starting third cycle the only down side at the moment is 2 units of blood every two weeks as it damages my HB how are you doing with the rest of the treatment Keeping well i hope

CDT is cyclophospomide Dexamethasone and Thalidomide my creatinine
was 500 on collapse i was at about 350 when it was considered but there would have been grave danger of the aggressive chemo fully destoying my kidneys i didnt want to risk it but i am a lot older than you your body
may take it you may need a long discussion with your consultant there is some one called Scott who also went down the same route as me he puts in a post from time to time we have got by for now please let us know how you get on

I was diagnosed jan 2009 MM renal failure and pnuemonia i had CDT which gave me 3yrs 6months remission I chose not to have an SCT as would have put in dialysis kidneys still hanging on I have just started sub Q velcade on second cycly with reduced doses of some of the drugs to protect the kidneys so chin up i am sure you will be ok i have premidrinate once a month just 30mgs over and hour and a half this is the kidney dose

you certainly dont do things by half glad you are on the mend now wise advice about gps mine sent me home with pnuemonia and real failure with the instructions to take some paracetamols!!! keep well i hope you can enjoy xmas

I have some PN which is unconfortable but not painful we have a foot machine that puts electrical pulses in the foot it does help i also rub in coconut oil thats good as well hope this settles for you husband i expect he can do with out all this

I am glad the experience was ok and you are reponding well fingers crossed for 6 cycles not 8 I am not doing to badly on the velcade but it does knock my Hb out so have had a couple of transfusions I hope you and yours have a lovely christmas and you can keep well keep in touch I have a big furry brown fleece on today i look like a fat bear HAHA 😛
