sorry to hear slim has had a bad time of it that nurse should be sacked no other words for it hygiene should be upmost in every case but especially for people with poor immune systems really glad you can get him home he will be better of there

Nice to hear from you I am doing ok at the moment the next breath holding moment is in july when they check my para's the next app in June is just to check Hb levels etc to see if I need any blood. How is Frank doing are they giving him anything for the ribs although I expect the dex will help a bit although it will not help with the bad moods did you get to spain or was that all cancelled

sorry you have had to join us here it must be a very difficult time for you and your husband dont be upset if your husband gets really grumpy and depressed this is the DEX talking I found it very difficult to handle I took mine in the mornig with yogurt which made it easier to swallow I took the last dose of Thalidomide before I went to bed at least this helped me to have about four hours sleep I have had MM since 2009 did not get any bone damage but it gave me renal failure CDT worked quite well for me I could not have a stem cell treatment due to the renal damage upto now I have had three years partial remission:-)

I get my husband to have me time I think its important so if i have an appointment that may take a couple of hours he drops me off he also goes fishing once a week this is important so do not feel guilty if you do he will feel guilty for taking up all your time

sorry your treatment has not worked i dont know about DT PACE a lot of treatments are not available to me becauce of renal failure

good to hear slim is not doing too badly fingers crossed all keeps going that way and he gets the remission you both deserve. i hope you can get to mettys memorial and you dont get too upset this is a bit like teaching you to suck eggs as i am the worlds worst weeper i get emotional at the drop of a hat kind regards to Slim

I have not been there but have seen films of them it should be a lovely holiday I believe there are some tropicals gardens I think they are on an island called Tresco
