so sorry you are having such a bad time I managed quite well with cdt and my kidney function improved they thought it was all the extra steriods which helped the kidneys I do hope they can manage your pain when they do that you will be able to think more clearly. There are lots of new treatments down the line I read about something new most months mainly in america but where they lead we follow
God bless Mavis I will say a prayer for you I believe in the power of prayer as I know you do

glad you managed to get away in the motor home it will have done you some good so Slim is going for the SCT i do hope this will be a success so he can have a good chance of a better life Well one year on and a wedding anniversary which you didnt at times think you would see hope you can go out and celebrate:-)

I was told 2/3 ltrs a day the more the better and yes it can include tea squash not much coffee for me as i have damaged kidneys also the odd glass of wine is ok if you have some water along side kidney specialist told me this I prefer red myself!!:-) 😀

glad you found us its good to hear what goes on over the pond I read Dr James Berensons reports you seem much further ahead with treament than us
you are so lucky to have been diagnosed before much damage has been done my kidneys have been badly damaged good luck with holding of the progression of MM

i am so glad you can be positive about the drugs you it might not be so bad to have revlimid treatment I know a lady in my support group who has had revlimid for nearly four years on a low dose now tablets every other day and no steriods at the moment thalidomide and velcade were not any good for her she says that there have not really been any side effects and at least its only once a month clinic visits
