sorry the second SCT failed but the new thinking is now drug therapy its the new big thing in America and when I was at UCH they said Dr Yong is the lead here I really hope this new regime works and gives stephen a long remmission I know about the dexitude I am also on a lower dose now but I feel a bit grumpy but trying hard to be nice;-)

the BM was horrible as they had to have three digs as my bones are difficult to aspirate so I have a bit of a sore bum at the moment:-(

you have really been though the mill but you sound a very determined character so I think you will cope very well with SCT we are very aprehensive about all trearments will they work can I cope I think you need to have faith in your medical team they are only trying their best for you

so glad you are manageing the treatment what sort of dose are you on for the thalidomide I found when on that and dex it was the only way to get a good sleep I say my prayers for you that this works and gives a you a long relief you certainly deserve it
I think keeping up appearances is important ''going grey never '' I aim to grow old disgracefully a nice chestnut rinse is my choice semi perm so lasts about two months I use E45 for dry skin it works for me as for fingers and nails if you can find some cotton gloves smarm your hands and nails with lanolin and leave over night my gran used to do this it worked every time.I am really glad you have come through your SCT and have achieved complete CR KEEP IT UP;-)

scary at first I know but ever since I have been put on steriods first off DEX then prednisolone for the kidneys my sugars have been too high so have had to inject insulin daily a real pain as it bruises me all the time the bruising is caused by the steriods apparantly its another side effect of them but hey ho we still here and moaniing so it must be a good sign BLUE PETER badges all round then. Sorry the treatment made you sick I really hope fingers crossed this works and gives you a great deal of relief you deserve it our little bright spark trying to cheer us all up

It will be nice for you to get a few months break from appointments as for the docter looking 14 mine looks like father christmas without the beard a rolly poly he has a cuddly manner as well with me we must stike the right chemistry with each other keep in touch
