Sorry your hols turned out so rotten especially as you had been looking forward to them Peter probably caught his infection from the plane I got a terrible cold last month when we got back from the canaries I know what you mean about two cardies cold up your way we visit friends in Leyburn in the yorkshire dales and its always a few degrees colder anyway Devon is lovely had lots of nice holidays down that way I live 20 miles north of London so we are often warmer here.

What awful news Like minimouse how can this doctor look into the future like that who knows what revlimid will do I speak to a lady at my support group who was told three years ago not much hope they put her onto revlimid
which at the time she had to fight for three years later she is well and still in remmission she was too old for an SCT so its the revlimid thats working have you though about getting a second opinion not all these docshave all the answers

I am following your story closely I am not on velcade yet they tell me it will be my next treatment I am really not looking forward to the DEX as I am a type 2:-/ diabetic so have to go on insulin as steriods really raise sugars I think about you all,all of the time hopeing everyone is successful

have you tried good old vanilla complan I made a milk shake from it with fresh bananas or strawberrys you can also thicken savoury soups with it there is also something called build up they give it out in the renal clinics
pobably not all that pleasant just a hold your nose job

When I was on CDT I didnt get sinus but the same as Bridget a constantly runny nose which got worse when I ate anything
but I did get a cold which left me with bad sinus pain for a while.

its good to get these things off your chest when I go to see my consultant he is always an hour over time as they double book him we waited four and a half hours once and then when i needed Thalidamide I had to wait two hours every time for the drugs we used to go and have lunch in the cafe in the hospital also the blood test clinic can run to an hour and a half it doesnt seem to matter how ill you are the wait is the same
