Many thanks for the responses. We did write down all our questions and took a pad with us to write down all the information. There is a lot to process at the moment and I think that we are still very much trying to come to terms with what this will mean for my father in law.
He is going to his first clinic next week, when drug treatment will start. Any advice that you have about coping with treatment would be great. Also, we are very very concerned about my Mum in law whom has taken this diagnosis very badly and is struggling to cope, and we aren't sure what help is available for her,
