For example myeloma if caught early there is less damage to bones nothing to do with age,but a younger person is fitter and healthy than a 70. Year old.
My husband is 69 this year used to be very fit ,so was able to have SCT but at his age will not be offered…[Read more]

Hi Gill
In view of the short time since you lost Stephen you sound to be doing well. I used to talk to my Mum's photo for ages after she died. I found it really comforting and often seemed to get "advice"!
Keep doing good.

Hi Ozzy
Would like to know more,as when I approached the subject of Velcade again it was. not recieved very well. I just think Slim did well on Velcade, and he is starting to use options up quickly without much remission or in the case of CDT,it was in affective.
At the moment my feelings are that I am angry the way our questions were…[Read more]

My husbands Amitriptyine was increased from 5 m to 25 m.by consultant in Kings Hospital London for PN,see consultant!!!!

Two steps forward ,one step back, you are taking little steps!:-)
I cannot help you with the grief of Stephen.but grief of anyone takes time and it has to be done individually .
My daughter and I talk about Matty her son,my first grandchild all the time, some times laughing, some times tears. 16 is no age to die.

A number of people on here, had problems with private insurance, one I can think of is Gill, her husband was at deaths door, and insurance still would not pay,I do not know if they ever recieved the insurance. Before he died.
The insurance make it hard to claim, there is only one way to go, Name and Shame to a national paper.Eve

I am not surprised by your story,as Slim and a few others have gone through a similar path,I actually sent a letter to my original doctor asking for an explanation ,thinking he might just have the guts to admit, the mistakes he made, but it was a waste of time.I phoned for a referral ,you need them private or not, another doctor phoned…[Read more]
