									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I was first diagnosed with myeloma in  May this year and the original combined treatment depressed  my white cells so I started thalidomide, which worked well for five months then stopped working! I have now started Velcade and it seems to be working although this won&#039;t be confirmed until our next review tomorrow!
