I am back walking again not as fast or steady as I used to be I am 56 and felt very frustrated and wasn&#039;t able to cope for quite awhile then I was given the citrolapram and take one at night which I feel helps. First flight slept most of it second one kept drinking water, stewardess were great gave me large bottles.<br />

It hurt at first but then you just get on.<br />
last Christmas I thought my time was up and friends and neighbours just said they didn&#039;t want to visit in case they upset us.<br />

She then mention about going on tablets, 21 days on, a week off then back on again to keep the Myeloma at bay.<br />
She said it was the next stage of the treatment, but nobody mentioned anything like this at the beginning.</p>

<p>Helen:  I think she may have a strong reaction to the Aciclovir as they affected her badly on the CDT last year and the consultant ended up taking her off them.</p>

<p>Another big gap in the updates (I&#039;m rubbish at this!).</p>
<p>Anyway, Etta got discharged last Weds (5th). A bit earlier than I anticipated but they were happy enough with her levels and the D&amp;V had calmed down considerably.<br />

They asked where we were up to in treatment, about antibiotics and hospital stays etc and the quote came in about £300 including cancellation cover, medical expenses and all the other stuff, and that was for both of us.<br />
Might be worth giving them a ring to have a chat.<br />

Etta had her day of chemo last Friday and we did our first mobilisation injections tonight. Had a bit of a shock when the nurse rang up the other day to check the dose and told us it was 3 a night not one!<br />
