Sorry to hear about M. My hubby is 57 and has had several operations on his spine and lost mobility. He is now walking on crutches and getting stronger after more than a year in hospital. We are in central Scotland and get treatment at Forth Valley Royal hospital. We have found the consultants very good. I believe Dundee have a specialist unit for myeloma

Wound is being reviewed every week in Edinburgh and is healing nicely. Still going every morning to FVRH for antibiotics. Up at am7.30 every morning and feeling tired.

Looking forward to Christmas with the family. My daughter will help with the cooking. Love seeing the granddaughters.

Sorry to hear your hubby Marc has mm and so young. We all suffer from shock when our loved ones are firstly diagnosed. My husband Ian has not been offered an SCT as he is not mobile at the moment but consultant said that after looking at all options SCT is not now considedred as first treatment. This is also the opinion in the US as there are other treatments that work without being so invasive.

Hope they can find an alternative for Chris.

Ian is cycling half a mile a day on the foot pedals and also lifting weights so building up the muscles. It is very hot in the ward just now and he is only allowed 1 hour in the wheelchair or I would take him outside.

Got gardener sorted out, now thinking of getting the ironing done.
