    So good to see everything going well for Colin at the moment.

    Is he on any maintenance program yet?

    We went to EJU last Weds Geoff is now down to a PP 2.5 and undetected in the light chains and he is just starting cycle 7 of RDC. I hope not too many more cycles all the emotions that goes with it 🙁

    Just wanted some information if possible from anyone on the MM X1 trial that are or were on the RCD arm.

    My partner has MM iga and has been on trial for a while now.

  • Hi we went to the Birmingham one the other week found it really helpful and interesting and on the plus side met other fellow suffers. My partner has the Myeloma I would recommend to anyone who gets a chance to go.

    Its my partner Geoff that has the MM he too had the same allergic reaction to the Allopurinal he was in a right state rash all over he was taken to hospital and kept in 4 days he is on the Revlimid too and has stayed on this he started with a level of 109 now after 3 months of Rev he was down to 13 so it does the job!     thats great news hope all goes well. We were in clinic this week and Dr Chown told us they are changing the clinic to a Trials Clinic on Wednesday afternoons from next month. Sounds a great idea as other MM sufferers on the trials will all be at same clinic. Geoff's Para Protein level is on way down nicely so hope to get to SCT soon.

    Thanks for your response, Geoff had the rash from head to toe! it was so horrible, I am glad it will get easier I think once Geoff accepts the diagnosis it will get easier still.

    I also know Dorset a lovely part of the country have an Aunty in Swanage.

    Thank you for your reply hope everything goes well with Colin's SCT. Will keep in touch (if you dont mind as its nce to know someone local going through the same). Geoff attends the EJU as well and is only just started his second cycle. I still cannot believe all this it turns your life around.
