Sian finally got back to us Friday afternoon possible transplant dated for 6th or 13th May !  She is going to confirm next week.  However I go to America to visit my daughter and granddaughter on 20 May with my mum for her 80th birthday. </p>

<p>it was 3.5m in days after 4 days of GCSF injections they did not want to go for more as they were happy with the 3.5. Geoff was disappointed as he hoped they may have tried for 4-5 but hey enough for one transplant.  </p>

<p>Now for the long wait until 17 June to get them back. It would have been sooner but I am off to visit my daughter and granddaughter in US in May and Geoff agreed to have it done when I am back to look after him.</p>

<p>We went to EJU last Weds Geoff is now down to a PP 2.5 and undetected in the light chains and he is just starting cycle 7 of RDC.  I hope not too many more cycles all the emotions that goes with it 🙁 </p>

<p>Its my partner Geoff that has the MM he too had the same allergic reaction to the Allopurinal he was in a right state rash all over he was taken to hospital and kept in 4 days he is on the Revlimid too and has stayed on this he started with a level of 109 now after 3 months of Rev he was down to 13 so it does the job! We were in clinic this week and Dr Chown told us they are changing the clinic to a Trials Clinic on Wednesday afternoons from next month.  Sounds a great idea as other MM sufferers on the trials will all be at same clinic. Geoff&#039;s Para Protein level is on way down nicely so hope to get to SCT soon.</p>

<p>Thanks for your response,  Geoff had the rash from head to toe! it was so horrible,  I am glad it will get easier I think once Geoff accepts the diagnosis it will get easier still.</p>
<p>I also know Dorset a lovely part of the country have an Aunty in Swanage.</p>

He chose to go on the Myeloma XI tial and is on the Revlimid. He is still in shock from  the diagnosis and I  wondered if there are any fellow patients in the Gloucester area he could talk to?  </p>
