Hi Andy good luck with your journey. It is an emotional roller coaster. But as It was said to me "it's not a walk in the park but you will get through it" and like others I did with the help and support of this site. People here have either been through it, are going through it or will be going to go through it. So stay close x

Hi Dai what a bugger!! Rev and Dex have proved to get good results though and as you say the other advantage is freedom from hospital visits. I hope it does the trick but at least if you do need further treatment Carfilzomib would be an option and may be more readily available love Bridget x

Hi Andy welcome . Its sometimes funny when you find yourself doing mad things because of steroids!! There have been times when I found myself cleaning like a mad thing at 3 am !Like you I was diagnosed after about a year of back pain and they discovered 3 vertebrae had been destroyed completely After surgery to stabilise my spine with huge…[Read more]

Regardless of my 3rd 'P' results 'Onyx', the manufacturers of Carfilzomib and the perpetrators of the 'Aspire' trial, have closed the doors on new trialists… I missed out by a week or so.
If either of my first 2 urine test had proven positive then there was a 50/50 chance of me making the magic worldwide 700.
Its ironic but I am not yet…[Read more]

Hi Kerry & Melvin,
I'm sorry but I missed your post for a while… it may sound strange, stupid even at this stage but while you will remain 'scared', hopefully at a much lower level than now, you will nor be 'frightened' for long.

Hi Eve great news it always feels better when things get moving. Is Slim close to making a decision yet ? It is a scary decision to have to make but the benefits could be immense if all goes well , that just makes it harder to decide though. If you do drive into London there are disabled parking bays dotted around all over the place which you…[Read more]
