As for pain? well I have a bit of pain but am sure it isn't down to the myeloma :-S might be just old age as all my bloods (well thats what the tell me) are Ok, only effects I had with the Zometa was a flu like symptom for a few days after getting it infused :-/

Me too Tom.. constipation is often treated as a joke but there is nothing funny about being on the receiving end. I have had several problems with it, a couple severe and one where I was so extended (stomach) that I ended up in hospital… luckily I had taken 6 (six) Movicol solutions that day and I ended up pooing for Wales (8 Caps).

I think you would be good as our resident expert on financial matters on this site,at our hospital there is no information except a notice board note telling you to get in touch with macmillan office.I tried this when Slim was in hospital,never received a reply,made me so angry it put me off trying.

The consultant said the magic word,it has taken a year,must admit when travelling to the hospital,we were both thinking it was not on the cards as Slim has not been well the last 2 weeks.
