    Hi Gaye,

    I hated taking the dex when I had my CDT, until Janet proposed mixng them in a small pot of yoghurt – which sorts of glides down without being chewed.8-)

    I know you will keep us posted re the pompoms (there you are Min) and I want you to know just how much I appreciate your commentaries on these treatments etc.:-)

  • Thank you to all of your replies. I only had a local anaesetic. My first one was done by my clinical nurse, who was off sick, but next time I may well ask for sedation.     ouch another painful bone marrow I have had three all painful because I did not realise you could have some sort of sedative will ask next time
    any way your consultant may not be right life is full of supprises lets hope its one of those times

    I have had sciatica for the last six weeks( agony )I have had some relief I went to an accupunture clinic it really helped with the pain thanks for trying to help me hope you feel better soon

    Dear Gaye I really feel for you , there is nothing worse. At the moment I take Severodol for breakthrough pain , although morphine based it doesnt knock you out . I also use the heated pads which do help. Hopefully your rt will happen quickly once they have seen your mri results love Bridget x
