    I have just had a phone call from the hospital to tell me that the funding for my Bendamustine treatment has been approved.

    I have a consult next Monday, so the plan is to have the consult as normal, get the new prescriptions (Dex & Thalidomide) and then have the first intravenous dose of Bendamustine.

    Well I had two a day of the injections and the nurse bless her used the same needle left needle in and just changed the filler 😀
    Side effects? pain in ribs and back for me for about two/three days and as the saying goes the more pain the better 😎

    Am so sorry your Mum has had a fall and I hope its soon sorted.
    Your Mum is a fighter as I recall when she found out about the MM she said "Onwards and Upwards" and that Emma speaks volumes about your Mum's strenth.

    I hope they get back to you soon to let you know its been passed and can start it of soon (am the sooner the better type of guy)
    As for the Thalidomide I was on Four Tabs a day (8pm) with my CTD. still got dodgy toes though Lol but if thats all I get then am Happy (ish)

    i am sorry you have had to join us but you will find much help and advice here I havnt had any of these treatments or a sct I had CDT with 3yr and 6month remission have just started on velcade i chose not to have an SCT as my kidneys were very damaged and i didnt want to finish them off completely with the heavy chemo needed
