Husband Peter the mm one. Diagnosed Aug 2009…bone damage and kidney damage ….transplant May 2010. Only lasted until OCT10 Been on velcade then revlamid each for 5-6 lots but non lasted so now on BIG dose of melphalan and new transplant in Aug sometime. need lots of crossed fingers now as theres nowhere else to go. Unfortunalty Peter lost his battle days after a second transplant and died on the 1st September 2011 in the ICU of Neutropenic Sepsis. with MM secondary!!! I am slowly rebuilding my life but miss him like crazy. We were married for 40 years but together for more.
