Hi Norman, I had my SCT at Hammersmith Hospital in London in Sept 2010. I could use my laptop but sometimes it was hard to get a signal from their wi fi. The food wasn't very good but family are allowed to bring you in what you like, obviously the food has to be fresh, I was given details about that before admission. Hi Bridget, my first proper post on this new site goes to you. I too turned into michelin woman when I was on Dex and I was on velcade too. Two months after stem cell transplant I am back to orignal weight and all the puffiness has gone. I'm almost sure dex is the main cause.
